Trustland in the Community
As an organisation, we are dedicated to the communities in which we work. This includes helping to raise funds for local schools, charities and sports clubs, volunteering and supporting our employees in their charitable aims.

Claire House Children’s Hospice
We are proud to be avid supporters of our local children’s hospice Claire House. The hospice helps seriously, and terminally ill children make the most of the time they have however long or short that may be. They provide specialist nursing and end of life care, as well as emotional support and uplifting activities and events to help families through some of the toughest times of their lives.
In addition to our Managing Director, Jonathan Bagley, giving his time to the Hospice as their business trustee, we have raised over £75,000, through employee-led fundraising events, company bake sales, pub quizzes, salary sacrifices, clothing donations and much more. Being able to donate such a significant amount of money is a huge testament to our employees’ dedication and their commitment to living our values.
Claire House Statement:
We are seeing more children and families using our services than ever before. It’s only thanks to the incredible support of organisations like Trustland that we’re able to continue to be there for local families when they need us most. The money that Trustland have raised for us could pay for:
- A full month of specialist nursing care for a child at the hospice
- Over 250 play sessions for children coming to Claire House on their respite stays
- 3 full months of butterfly support for multiple families who’ve lost a child
- 25 full courses of counselling for bereaved parents
Amount raised so far
In my time at Claire House, I’ve supported kids who’ve come to have their holiday on a respite stay. I’ve worked with our rapid response team out in the community where and when families need us, and now I’m part of an incredible family support team who help our families, whichever stage of the journey they’re at. We always hear about our supporters through our fundraising team and Trustland’s support has been a massive part of why I’m able to be there for our families. I played at our golf day last year which we wouldn’t have been able to put on without Trustland, they’re a brilliant champion of what Claire House is all about.
The Paul Lavelle Foundation
The Paul Lavelle foundation is a charity built in honour of Paul Lavelle, a local man from the Wirral, who sadly lost his life at the hands of his girlfriend in a cruel and tragic case of domestic violence. The foundation was established by Paul’s friends and family and strives to eradicate any stigma and provide support for males speaking out about domestic abuse and mental health.
In the past we have sponsored our friend and foundation supporter Steve McHugh in his marathon run, swim and cycle from London to Paris and in June of 2022 our very own Director David Leatt joined the Paul Lavelle team to cycle 450 miles from the Wirral to the Somme.
Egremont Primary School
Egremont school is a primary school based in Wallasey. Egremont has created a safe and respectful environment to support the development of happy and well-rounded children, focussing not just on their academic skills, but on their social and personal skills too.
Over the years we have supported Egremont’s literacy efforts by sponsoring entries into the ‘500 word’ creative writing competition and donating new books and reading materials for the restoration of their vandalised library bus.
Local Sports Teams
Over the years we have supported numerous local sports clubs with kit and equipment donations such as Mersey Royal football club, MHS Villa and the Liscard Panthers.
We have also been proud long-term sponsors of Caldy Rugby Club for over 30 years and Teamfounds sidecar racing for over 20 years. We are proud to say that Caldy are now one of the top 24 teams in England after being promoted to the Championship second tier English Rugby in 2022. And Teamfounds have been British F2 sidecar Champions for 4 years in a row.
